January 20 update
For the third week in a row (Dec 27 to January 16) there were no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Powell River Local Health Area (includes City of Powell River, qathet Regional District (minus Lasqueti), and Tla’amin Nation).

January 13 Update: case counts, vaccines and survey results
Along with sunnier days, we are happy to report that the first COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Powell River and are being administered in long-term care facilities. You can see more information about the arrival of vaccines in this Peak article from today.
